I have maintenance tickets for the simplest things still unresolved for 2 months. I am moving out in July and I can guarantee they will not be resolved by the time I move out. So let’s take a bet on this. Be warned everything in the apartment will fall apart so you will be doing maintenance tickets constantly. It is still the loudest apartment you will ever experience and not because of outside noise, even though the building is above a rock club (for real) so you will definitely hear that every weekend. But no because they are building an entire apartment building below , like full on apartments, so you will hear jackhammering everyday. Been like this for 1.5 YRs. They also changed the way rent is paid for no reason so if you do not have a MX bank account it will be a hassle, which doesn’t make sense because half this building is foreigners. What I had to do is transfer money to someone with a Mexican bank account which takes days and then have them pay my rent via transfer. Very stupid, very inconvenient. And because of the cost of rent again this building is definitely meant to cater to foreigners (which is also problematic in some ways).

the apartment itself is unlivable. If you’re on the 2nd floor, they have been doing construction for months right outside my window so it’s the loudest thing you have ever heard, every day, and early in the morning. they shouldn’t be leasing any apt on this floor until the construction is done. It is definitely questionable that they leased this unit knowing this much extensive work was scheduled.

Update: They knew construction was scheduled from Feb to Sept which is almost the entire length of my lease and told me nothing when I signed the lease. I have 2 cats and the noise is I am sure incredibly agitating to them. It is beyond loud, shakes the apt. I would not have moved in obviously had I known this was happening. In talking with the property manager, his offer for 6 months of the ordeal in total was 3,000 pesos. My rent is 31,000 pesos per month. So, that is obviously an insult. They never offered to simply move me to a different apartment when the construction started which would have been a solution to this entire ordeal.

Update: I finally got moved to the 8th floor. But it wasn’t until after multiple friends of mine messaged whoever was around bc you just have to harass random people who work here to get an answer to anything to move me apartments. You need a whole team of people to deal with anything in this building. The 8th floor apartment is definitely better. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t nonsense. No, that would be too easy on me. I didn’t have internet for 2 days and instead of simply fixing it, I was told to talk to the internet provider myself. Which ok if it means getting the internet I’ll do what it takes (there is an entire front desk reception). So, I tried to reach out to them, obviously they did nothing. After no one from the internet company nor Josefa even messaged me back, my bf took a drill and pulled the modem off the wall (the cable is inside the wall) to turn it off and turn it back on lol. Great, love doing manual labor myself for 31,000 pesos a month. Bc remember, you need to prepared with an entire team of ppl to help you bc no one who works here will. AND you have no control over the internet, it is provided by Josefa. It is not my modem nor is it the internet provider I chose. So it would be one thing if they asked me to deal with it myself and it was MY internet. But it is a modem with no buttons on it and literally attached to the wall and some random company (if I could write a review about them I would too cause they were also wild), not Telmex etc. Anyways, after he did that it obviously worked. So after we do minor home renovation, I hear nothing, haven’t messaged me once even asking if anything was resolved. Have done the opposite and ignored every message I have sent them lol. You also must message them constantly for any updates.
