Este departamento NO ESTÁ PENSADO PARA ESTANCIAS LARGAS. Cuando me quedé en el Airbnb antes de mudarme tuve una buena experiencia, pero me arrepiento de haber firmado el contrato. Puedo dar fe de que la mayoría de las reseñas positivas son pagadas, falsas o de gente que se quedó poco tiempo. Quienes hemos vivido aquí a largo plazo no podemos darle una buena calificación porque hay demasiados problemas para el precio: estás pagando por lujo y recibiendo lo mínimo indispensable, y muchas veces ni eso.
A lo largo de mi contrato sentí que el foco de la administración estaba en llenar vacantes y generar nuevos prospectos con mercadotecnia llamativa, en lugar de intentar conservar a sus inquilinos actuales mejorando su experiencia y atendiendo sus necesidades.
Estas son las cosas que me hubiera gustado que alguien me dijera con honestidad:
1. El internet nunca funciona; hablaron y hablaron de arreglarlo y de algún modo sigue teniendo problemas. Incluso se llegó a hablar de que los residentes demandaran al edificio por este tema.
2. Cosas al azar en las amenidades van a estar descompuestas y tu solicitud de mantenimiento para arreglarlas va a ser ignorada.
3. Hay un antro justo al lado. Ponen música a un volumen altísimo los fines de semana y a veces incluso entre semana. No suena como música a lo lejos: es tan fuerte que parece que tu vecino de al lado en el edificio está haciendo una fiesta. Tocan absolutamente todos los fines de semana y siguen hasta bien pasada la medianoche. Si tienes niños pequeños o mascotas, te recomiendo mantenerte lejos no solo de este edificio, sino de esta calle. Esto no es culpa directa del edificio, pero aun así afecta la calidad de vida de los residentes.
4. Los departamentos están mal construidos. Se nota que una gran corporación no le dedicó ni un pensamiento al diseño de estos espacios y usó materiales baratos. Por ejemplo, las puertas del área de lavado están sostenidas CON CINTA ADHESIVA. Un día simplemente se cayeron y pudieron haberme causado una lesión grave o haber matado a mis mascotas. Hasta el personal de mantenimiento que vino a arreglarlo se quedó impactado.
5. Obra y mantenimiento a todas horas, ruidosos, incómodos y peligrosos, sobre todo en el estacionamiento, porque a veces te hacen usar la misma rampa para entrar y salir sin que nadie la esté supervisando. Como las rampas son angostas, tienes visibilidad limitada y no alcanzas a ver si viene un coche en sentido contrario. Eso me generaba muchísima ansiedad y frustración, y hubo varios días en que me quedé en casa o cambié mis planes con tal de no lidiar con la situación del estacionamiento.
6. Te pueden multar por la cantidad que quieran, a su discreción. No olvides leer esa parte de tu contrato 😀. A veces las multas están justificadas, pero cuando llevas aguantando varios problemas en silencio, se siente como una bofetada que te multen con una cantidad fuerte por un error. ¿Dónde estaba toda esa energía y esa atención cuando pedí que repararan el daño por agua en mi baño?
7. El precio. Sinceramente, a pesar de estos problemas la ubicación es buena (incluso con el antro al lado) y le habría puesto una calificación más alta al edificio si la renta no fuera exorbitante para la calidad de vida y para los metros cuadrados del departamento. La única razón por la que escribo esta reseña es para advertirle a quien esté pensando «ah, es un lugar bonito, entonces el precio se justifica». No, no se justifica. Mi departamento anterior también era caro, pero nunca me molestó, porque sentía que mi día a día ahí lo justificaba y nunca había problemas constantes. Y desde luego no problemas que sintiera que cruzaban la línea, como los de aquí en Josefa. Una vez se fue el agua sin ningún aviso y la administración no dio absolutamente ninguna explicación de por qué; una de las vecinas hasta se estaba bañando cuando se cortó el agua. ¿En serio esto es lo que pasa en un edificio donde la renta ronda los 40,000 o más? Y tampoco esperes que la renta se mantenga igual: van a subir los precios alegando inflación y demanda, lo cual, otra vez, sería entendible si se tratara de un edificio valuado a un precio justo.
La estrella es por parte del personal del día a día, que siempre fue súper acogedor y amable y que, como dicen las otras reseñas, no representa a la administración.

This apartment IS NOT MEANT FOR LONG TERM STAYS. When I stayed in the Airbnb prior to moving in I had a good experience but I regret signing the lease. I can attest that most of the positive reviews are either paid, fake, or from people who stayed short term. The people who have lived here long term cannot give it a high rating because there are too many issues for the price—You are paying for luxury but getting the bare minimum—a lot of times not even that.
Throughout my lease I felt that the management’s focus was on filling vacancies and generating new leads with flashy marketing instead of trying to keep its current tenants by improving their experiences and meeting their needs.
Here are the things I wish someone told me honestly:
1. Internet never works, they went on and on about fixing it but it somehow still has issues. There were even talks about residents suing the apartment for this issue.
2. Random things in the amenities will be broken and your maintenance request to fix them will be ignored.
3. There is a nightclub quite right next door. They play music extremely loudly on the weekends and sometimes even during weekdays. It doesn’t just sound like music from a distance, it’s so loud it sounds like your next door neighbor in the building is having a party. They play every single weekend and will play well past midnight. If you have small children or pets, I recommend that you stay far away from not only this apartment but from this street as well. This is not directly the building’s fault but it still affects a residents quality of life.
4. The apartments are built poorly. You can tell that a big corporation put no thought into designing these places and used cheap materials. For example, the laundry doors are held together BY TAPE. The doors just randomly fell one day and could have caused severe injury to me or killed my pets. Even the maintenance people who came to fix it were shocked at this.
5. Construction/ maintenance at all times that is loud, inconvenient, and dangerous—especially in the parking lot because they make you use the same ramp to enter and exit sometimes without anyone overseeing the ramp. Because the ramps are narrow you have limited vision and can’t really see if a car is coming from the other way. This made me feel extremely anxious and frustrated and there are several days I stayed home or changed my plans to avoid having to deal with the parking lot situation.
6. They can fine you, however much they want, at their discretion. Don’t forget to read this in your contract 😀. Sometimes fines are justified but when there are several issues you’ve been quietly dealing with, it feels like a slap in the face to get fined a heavy amount for a mistake. Where was all this energy and attention when I asked for the water damage in my bathroom to be fixed?
7. The price. Honestly despite these issues the location is nice (even despite the nightclub next door) and I would have rated the apartment higher if the rent wasn’t exorbitant for the quality of life and the sq ft of the apartment. The only reason I am writing this review is to warn people who are thinking, oh it’s a nice place so the price is justified. No it isn’t. My previous apartment was also expensive but I never felt upset about it because I felt like my day to day there was justified and there were never consistent issues. Especially not issues that I felt like really crossed the line like the ones here at Josefa. One time the water just went out with no warning and the management gave absolutely no explanation as to why, and one of the neighbors was even showering when the water turned off. Is this really what happens at an apartment where the rent is ~40,000+? And don’t expect the rent to stay the same either, they will increase the prices stating inflation and demand, which again, would be understandable if this was an apartment that is valued at a justified rate.
The one star is for the some of the day to day staff who were always super welcoming and friendly and as the other reviews say, do not represent management
